Our rooms have been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard to create as much comfort as possible, including a small fridge and wine glasses should you wish to 'bring a bottle' to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in your room.
Two Dales is perfectly situated for exploring the outstanding countryside of Derbyshire and visiting some of the famous houses and gardens in the area. These include Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
There are many good restaurants and pubs some within walking distance or a short drive away from Chesterfield House. Many of which we do have listed.
We are within easy reach of Bakewell [famous for its puddings] and the Spa towns of Buxton and Matlock. You may even like to enjoy an evening at the Buxton Opera House.
There is variety for everyone. A family day out could include a trip to the steam railway which is a short walk from Two Dales. Gulliver's Kingdom,
Heights of Abraham and Crich Tramway Museum are all a short drive away. We are half an hours drive from the M1 and Derby , Nottingham and Sheffield are all within a reasonable distance.
Derbyshire is a haven for walkers so anyone intending to bring their hiking boots will certainly not be disappointed. There are hundreds of miles of amazing countryside to be explored and enjoyed and we have several books on planned routes, which we are more than happy to lend to our guests.
After a good nights sleep, you will be served a continental or hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day. We also offer a lighter breakfast if preferred. We do try to cater for all special dietary requirements. [notice of these would be appreciated upon booking]. All our produce is locally sourced. We usually serve breakfast between 8.00 and 9.30a.m. however we try to be flexible to our guests arrangements and timetables.

There are 5 comfortable bedrooms (one is accessed via another), four of which are double and one twin giving sleeping capacity for 10 . Within these rooms are 4 further single beds and 2 single bed chairs giving total sleeping for 14 plus two if required. Hair dryers are provided in all rooms.
We provide 2 travel cots and two high chairs. All bedrooms at this luxury holiday cottage are furnished to a high standard with handmade antique pine furniture and co-ordinated furnishings. The floors are a mix of carpets, oak, tiled and stone floors lending character and warmth. There is one en suite bathroom and a fabulous master bathroom which has both a roll top bath and a walk in shower. There is a 3rd WC on the ground floor.
The lounge is separate to the dining room and both have magnificent oak beamed ceilings and warm log burning stoves. In the lounge are 3 comfortable sofa's for cosy evenings in with friends and family, a TV with teletext, video recorder, DVD player and Ipod dock are provided for your entertainment.There is Wi-Fi and full oil central heating.
The dining room has a large farmhouse table seating 10 to 14 with ease. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with all the creative chef will require. There are antique hand made pine kitchen units with a double French pottery sink set in tiled and marble worktops.
An automatic washer, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge and fridge freezer, microwave and full electric halogen cooker with double oven are provided as well as many smaller items. The windows overlook the beautiful cottage gardens, with mint, lemon balm, chives, black currents and fruit trees. |

Ash, Birch cottages are tastefully converted, stone-built cottages nestling around Twitchill Farm, an 18th century farmhouse which is now the home of Sarah Atkin.
Ash and Birch Cottages are charming three-storey cottages which each sleep up to 8 people. They each have four separate bedrooms; one twin room and one room with spacious bunk beds, plus two double rooms, ideal for adults or children. Both share a large lawned garden, ideal for barbecues and lawn parties.
The cottages all have fully equipped kitchens and are tasefully decorated and furnished throughout. They share a Utility Room which offers a tumble drier, washing machine, additional freezer space.
The farm has a heated indoor swimming pool We are sorry that dogs and other pets are not permitted at the cottages.

Hartington Beech and Birch Cottages Self-catering Holiday Cottage accommodation |  Beech and Birch Cottages are two three storey adjacent cottages centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Hartington, which is an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. The cottages are approximately 200 yards from the local village shops, Post Office and Inns.
Beech Cottage sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms. Birch Cottage sleeps 6 + 1, in 3 bedrooms. Each cottage has a lawned front garden, at the front, with table and chairs and BBQ. A private off road car parking space is available for one car at each property, with ample additional car parking available on the quiet adjacent road.
BEECH COTTAGE has an AA Self Catering 4* rating, scoring an excellent overall rating. The cottage is fully heated throughout, with electric storage heaters in each bedroom and the living room. The kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating and the living room also has an inviting coal/log fire. There is an unlimited supply of coal and logs, and all heating is included in the rental.
BIRCH COTTAGE has been tastefully renovated and has an AA Self Catering 4* excellent rating. The cottage is fully heated throughout with oil central heating, the living room also has a welcoming wood burning stove.

Sympathetically restored to create an attractive holiday home, No.3 offers wonderful walks from the doorstep and many other Peak attractions within a short drive.
Nearby Litton has excellent pub food and a proper village shop open every day. There are more shops and pubs in Tideswell, famous for the "Cathedral of the Peak". If you're looking for a green holiday, all this is within walking distance and there's also a daily bus from the door to Bakewell..
