We are within easy reach of Bakewell [famous for its puddings] and the Spa towns of Buxton and Matlock. You may even like to enjoy an evening at the Buxton Opera House.
There is variety for everyone. A family day out could include a trip to the steam railway which is a short walk from Two Dales. Gulliver's Kingdom,
Heights of Abraham and Crich Tramway Museum are all a short drive away. We are half an hours drive from the M1 and Derby , Nottingham and Sheffield are all within a reasonable distance.
Derbyshire is a haven for walkers so anyone intending to bring their hiking boots will certainly not be disappointed. There are hundreds of miles of amazing countryside to be explored and enjoyed and we have several books on planned routes, which we are more than happy to lend to our guests.
After a good nights sleep, you will be served a continental or hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day. We also offer a lighter breakfast if preferred. We do try to cater for all special dietary requirements. [notice of these would be appreciated upon booking]. All our produce is locally sourced. We usually serve breakfast between 8.00 and 9.30a.m. however we try to be flexible to our guests arrangements and timetables.
Whether you are in the area on business. Fly fishing at Chatsworth, on a walking holiday, a family trip or a wedding weekend. Or, just wanting a few days away from the 'hustle and bustle' of life. Vil and Claudia look forward to seeing you.
