It is warm and comfortably furnished and accommodates 4 people, plus 2 extra children. The lounge has exposed beams and a coal fire. Other key features are free wireless broadband internet access, a dishwasher, washer-drier and freezer. Gas, electricity, coal, linen and towels, tea, coffee and a gift of local produce are all included. The front door of Cross View Cottage leads into a spacious lounge-dining room, situated at the front of the house and overlooking the village green. The traditional coal fire provides a cosy glow for relaxing evenings in this comfortable, spacious and well furnished room. There is a high definition TV with a DVD player and a selection of children's toys and books. Behind the lounge-dining room is a kitchen-breakfast room which looks out over the courtyard and the fields beyond. It is well equipped with washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave oven, electric fan-assisted oven, gas hob, freezer and fridge. The back door leads through the conservatory, which has space for boots and buggies, onto the courtyard. Outside there is a small, sunny garden with a paved patio area and garden furniuture. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The front bedroom has twin beds. It faces the green - you can see the birds in summer, the village Christmas tree in winter and the Red Lion all year round. This bedroom has a television with DVD player. An additional child can be accommodated on an inflatable mattress. The rear bedroom is a double which looks out over fields. As well as this magnificent view, it has a double bed, with an electric blanket, a double sofa bed and ample storage space. An additional child can be accommodated on an inflatable mattress or in the cot (both provided). Next door, the bathroom has a WC, washbasin and a full-length bath with a shower unit attached.
